This
was a very difficult shot to execute precisely.
I wanted to show the amazing contrast between
the uppermost land formation and the trench
that ran along side and below it. I made several
photographs at this location, but this was
without a doubt the best. When I saw this
slide for the first time I was thrilled by
the amount of detail in both the brightly
illuminated and shadow bathed areas of the
scene. |
