One of the most difficult and rewarding aspects
of photography is manipulating light to achieve
a certain look. I often spend hours at a time
experimenting with various lighting techniques
and trying to come up with creative ways to
achieve interesting images. In this particular
photograph I placed a small rubber toy on
the top of a piece of thick plastice and lit
it with a bright light from underneath. The
light diffused up through the plastic and
resulted in the image you see here. |
